Why do it?

The purpose of this site is to raise money for our charity in Romania, Care4Rominia

Care4Romania’s aim is to support missionaries working in Romania with practical projects to help the impoverished to become independent and give them hope for their future. Whilst we do provide limited short term help, our primary focus is on medium and long term projects.

Where did this idea come from?

The idea for click-on-a-brick was inspired by Alex Tew and his Million Dollar Homepage. He wanted to fund his way through University, and came up with the idea of selling advertising space.

Here you can buy bricks instead of pixels, get advertising for your company, advertise an event, or just give to a worthwhile charity!

How much does it cost?

Each brick costs £5, and the minimum purchase is 1 brick and you can buy as many as are available!
As well as individual bricks, you can purchase other items on the house such as the front door, the chimney, roof slates, a window pane, or even an entire window.

How do I pay for my bricks?

All transactions will be carried out using paypal's secure epayment web-site

Are any costs deducted from my donation?

The only costs deducted will be in fees made to paypal. No other deductions will be made so you can be sure your donation is making a difference.

Can I pay via Gift-Aid?

Yes you can. If you live in the UK you can help the charity by donating with Gift-Aid. Doing this means the charity can claim back any taxes, so the charity can get much more of your donation. Please tick the gift aid box when making your payment.

Can I pay in another currency?

Yes, you can pay using a great majority of currencies. Please go to paypal for a complete list of accepted currencies.

How big is each brick?

Each brick is 18 pixels wide and 11 pixels high.
Each roof slate is 28 pixels wide and 21 pixels high.
The chimney is 34 bricks in total.
The front door is 90 bricks in total.
Each window is 96 bricks in total.

The links don't work. What am I doing wrong?

If you have pop-up blocker type software or have pop-up stopper as part of your web-browser you this will stop you from viewing the links, since they open in a new web browser.
